Do nurses have to take a state board once completing the RN to BSN program?

Are there any clinical requirements for a BSN?
Clinical experience is a vital part of nursing, but most RN to BSN programs recognize that the nurse already has this experience. Some colleges will require a community health rotation, while others will not require any clinical competency. How much does it cost to go back to school?
